PUBG Championship India 2018: ₹ 50 Lakh Chicken Dinner

PUBG maker Tencent Games regarded as the world's largest game company has announced the launch of India's biggest eSports Championship 2018.
It will partner with OPPO India and run the mega eSports tournament for a month from 26 Sep - 21 Oct 2018 and the grand finals are to be held in Bangalore.
This tournament is exclusively for college students from over 1000 colleges in over 30 cities across the country.




HOW TO PARTICIPATE : 

A squad of 4 members from any campus in India can participate and compete.
Four knockout rounds including the semi-finals will shortlist the final 20 teams to compete for the ultimate trophy at the grand finals.
Registrations will be open via the official website www.pubgmobile.in from 7 Sep 2018 till 23 Sep 2018.

The entire prize pool of
50 lakh has been sponsored by Oppo India and the championship will be streamed across all social media platforms, allowing eSports enthusiasts across the country to follow the championship as one team manages to claim the top spot.

Prize Money :
First Place - ₹ 15 Lakh
Second Place - ₹ 5 Lakh
Third Place - ₹ 3 Lakh
Fourth Place - ₹ 2 Lakh

Squads until the 10th place will be eligible for various amounts of cash prizes.

In addition, prizes in the form of Oppo phones, allowances worth up to ₹4 lakh for participants and miscellaneous gifts worth ₹3 lakh are up for grabs. Moreover, students participating can also win various scholarships.

Also, there are Special Awards like -
 MVP – Overall Best Player with the maximum number of MVP awards
 The Executioner – Awarded for maximum kills overall
 The Medic – Awarded for the highest number of revives
 The Redeemer – Awarded to the player with the highest amount of health   restored
 The Rampage Freak – Awarded for maximum kills in one lobby
 The Lone ranger – Awarded for Maximum Time Survived in game
